We do more than donate money and services of value to local charities. We actively participate in fund drives as leaders and workers.
We encourage you to join us by giving generously and volunteering in El Dorado County causes and in particular the Placerville and Jackson areas.
Coats for Local Kids
In our 3rd Annual Coats for Local Kids drive (2011) we collected 300+ coats for needy kids in El Dorado County and 130+ coats in Amador County. Lori Stymeist spearheads this effort each year, combining forces with the national Coats for Kids Foundation, the Placerville Rotary Club and many other local volunteer people and agencies. We encourage you to help us increase the number of coats collected next holiday season by watching for sales through the year and collecting new coats for boys and girls, infants through teens. Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado County
We enjoy sponsoring events such as Heroes Night, benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado County. This excellent organization serves over 1500 boys and girls, ages 6 - 18 on the western slope of El Dorado County. Please take steps to involve yourself in their programs by volunteering or making an easy online donation now.
Rotary Club of Placerville
Steve and Lori enjoy participating year-round in the many community causes supported by the Rotary Club in Placerville. It's a great group of people who are generous and service minded. Two super fun and successful events are the annual Lobster on the River in Coloma and The Bon Voyage Ball at the El Dorado County fairgrounds. Come enjoy great food, music and dancing. It's a painless way to support important community causes. See you there!
